Delicious food. Quality oysters. I don't drink but it had an insane amount of Bourbon.
Amazing food with an awesome waitress in one of the coziest restaurants.
Friendly and attentive service with amazing eats in a low key atmosphere. I had the hot fried chicken and Derby pie. The chicken is smoked for 12 hours before it is fried, so it has a ton of flavor. The Derby pie is served warm and was the best I had during my visit (and I tried several). I came for lunch and was in and out in an hour without feeling rushed at all...I set the pace entirely. I'd visit Louisville again just to come back here.
Legit the best chicken I have ever tasted. Alec was amazing at the bar. 10/10
Great food. Lousy service. Bartender started his shift in a careless mood. Was noticed by other patrons. Didn't go well on the top board on the way out. Dietary restrictions: Gf friendly
This place looks and smells very good. Our waitress was friendly and polite. I ordered the barbecue sampler with pulled pork brisket and St. Louis style ribs. First of all, none of the food tasted like it was smoked. Brisket had zero smoke ring, no bark and was dry and sliced incorrectly. That added to the toughness. The pulled pork tasted more like vinegar than anything else. The ribs were overcooked and tasteless. If you asked me, these were made in the oven and probably reheated from yesterday. Maybe their smoker is broken? New staff? Either way I was shocked I had to come from NY to Kentucky to have one of the worst barbecue plates I’ve ever had. My wife enjoyed her burger and fries were good. Definitely would not recommend.
We asked for a sample with brisket , chicken and pulled pork. Chicken was RAW Full of blood. Brisket and pork was ok. ALL food was extremely spice Impossible to eat. The Price was Very expensive for the quality! We were expecting much more !
