Dickey's Barbecue Pit

Simply amazing food and service. Must try the brisket!

Brisket was good, really enjoyed it

First time visiting Dickey's BBQ Pit. I had the Pulled Pork plate with hand cut fries and my wife had Bangers and Mash Stack. Portions were sizable, hot and served timely. The staff was very friendly and the restaurant was clean and orderly. My meal was very tasty and the BBQ flavor was great - not over powering. My wife's a big mashed potatoes fan and she enjoyed her meal. All three BBQ sauces were good but we both picked the "original" as our favorite. We recommend and will return!

The food was cold and the order was not right,

Good food, great people working (at least great attitudes).

Went into restaurant at 6:35 p.m. There was 4 employees one laying his head on table another one sitting down. The lady behind counter yelling at another employee to get her some rolls. We placed our order and was told not to sit at a table because they didn’t want to clean it again. Your hours state they close at 9pm but they turned the open sign off before 7pm. I got a loaded potato that was old my meat was cold but I definitely didn’t ask for them to redo it because I could tell I wasn’t wanted there. I will not return. Was so excited for this restaurant to open on my side of town but unfortunately it was a big disappointment.

This is a great place to go if you like room temperature BBQ and terrible service. $32 for two BBQ sandwich plates the very least they could do is serve the food hot. For the location across town to be so consistently good, this location is horrible. Cold BBQ, cold fries, the collard greens were good though. So 2 stars.
