Highly recommend! Food is fantastic. Great customer service
The sandwiches are delicious, and they have a great assortment of Italian cookies.
This is not a deli, and it's definitely not an Italian deli. There is no deli meat for sale, only a few pastries. Thirty dollars for two sandwiches is ridiculous. There are no prices posted for anything, and they don't accept cash.
Was excited to see they had Zeppole! Hard to find in Austin. They are sent on dry ice from either NY or NJ and they tasted like it. I purchased a dozen. I purchased 1/2 dz of Italian Lemon twists (no trace of lemon) with a chalky hard frosting that flaked off in chunks. 1/2 dz of hard as rock Ricotta cookies. 5 sandwiches (small but decent) for a tune of $185.00. As my friend said “A bakery that doesn’t smell like a bakery”.
The pictures show tables and chairs but there are none in the restaraunt. My sandwich had a horrible smell to it but I didn't notice until I was already home.
I unfortunately have to write this review. I have recommended this restaurant over and over and we do love the taste of their food. However we have now had 4 separate orders that had problems out of the five times we have eaten here. The most recent really was the most upsetting. I placed an order for a sandwich tray for NYE. We go to pick it up to be told at first the order was never taken. (later the owner said it was given to another costumer by accident ) we were told the only option was a refund. Which couldn't be done right away since the owner was out of town. We were sent away with no food , no refund and had to scramble to find food to feed our guests. They have apologized and finally issued a refund. I understand that things happen at businesses. However this is our fourth time having a major issue (twice with their bagel orders -once on Christmas morning and the another time when we picked up subs from them. We were missing a whole sub). Again things do happen but this has been 4 out of the 5 times we have ordered from them! They are not very helpful to their customers and kind of just give a "not my problem attitude" Unfortunately this a long with them taking sandwiches off their menu will cause us to never be able to recommend them or go visit them again. Edited to add: after I left an honest review where I complimented them but was very honest about my experiences. They blocked me from their Facebook page. Very unprofessional for a business and again goes along with the "not my problem" attitude I described in my review.
Great little Italian Bakery that also does a sandwich special for the day.
We had the meatball sub, the daily special spicy tuna, New York cheesecake and mini eclairs and they were delicious. This is a to go only, they have just a couple chairs for waiting.
Food was very good, however they are very very unprofessional. They change their concept every other week which leads to confused customers. They are then short with the customers when they are confused by the changes. They also use google images for their products which belong to other people. If you reverse search you'll see their images are not of their actual food! They also rant about customers on their Facebook page and block anyone who does have a complaint. Very disappointing!
