Decent place its one of the indian fast food chains and they converted it into a restaurant.the food like the puffs and everything is great but the curry is decent .
Used to frequent the chain when it first opened as Indikitch. Over the years the service and quality have certainly declined. Most recently they cut down on the amount of curry offered in the “feast” significantly. I mean just look at the ratio of rice to curry. It’s a shame. No wonder their Columbus circle location closed down.
Atmosphere wasn't great. The food was good but even the "not spicy" option was still too hot for kids.
Knowledgeable, patient, and kind staff. Fresh delicious meal except bread item. Clean private bathroom. Great samosas ready to eat and frozen take home. Great sauces. Water is self serve.
If there was an option to give zero stars I would’ve given that. The WORST indian food I have had in NYC, stale and undercooked rice which eventually led to food poisoning. The staff was least bothered about what they are serving and the customer feedback. I had some hopes from Deep kitchen as I do have their frozen food time and again but their restaurant is simply AWFUL. You can definitely do better. (West 23rd St.) I had biryani by the way and it wasn’t even close to how it should taste.
Deep Indian Kitchen in New York City is a culinary treasure trove of authentic Indian flavors. From the first bite to the last, every dish is a testament to their dedication to quality and taste. Whether you're craving classic curries, aromatic biryanis, or crispy samosas, Deep Indian Kitchen delivers with excellence.
I made the review while still at the place at how awesome it is. First of, if you are not sure about the dishes or you don't eat indian often (or ever) fear not. They make you order through an app which makes everything much easier with mains, sides and all. Not only is freaking delicious but also it is affordable, you can adjust spice levels to your liking and everything is great. And they were kind enough to offer some tea and samosas after I was done, free of charge. Super nice, super delicious. This was excellent
I had a terrible experience. I order the food to dine in but after two minutes I had to cancel because of the something came up and I had to leave. I asked them to cancel my order and give me the refund and they refuse saying something that it like they will not refund and it's like Macdonald's as they don't refund it either firstly Macdonald's do refund if you want to cancel your order. As they refuse to refund I asked them to give my food as a take out. A guy in the restaurant first refused that too. But then after the other employe asked me and gave me the order as takeout. The food was also not good.
