very very overpriced, environment is too bad for the price (70 per person), bowls were not clean, chairs were not comfortable, bathroom is dirty, music is weird, service mid. food is also mid, the same as those all you can eat place both me and my boyfriend got the runs the next morning
Loved the food, service and the awesome music! Will definitely come back again!
We booked a table for 6 on Friday at 7:30pm, we were given a table that's for 9 people and two pots and the seats are far apart. But funny enough, they asked us to squeeze into one side. While we are all skinny and fit, we can't eat and move if we are packed. They said alternatively, we can order two pots and sit across the entire table, you have to shout to talk. We asked to switch to a 6 seat table and was told that we can be seated in 20 min. We agreed but ended up waiting for 40 min. No one gave us water or anything. When we repeatedly inquired, they said just wait. They said they would compensate us for one soup base, but later changed their minds... even though we had waited for a reserved table for 40 min without water, nor any apologies. The floor in the basement is very slippery, the hygiene is questionable. Completely unacceptable!
We visited De Zhuang Hotpot last weekend since their reviews were great and people mentioned it’s really authentic. The decor of De Zhuang Hotpot was wide-spaced and perfect for gatherings. Their broth was flavorful with reasonable price. There wasn’t a great variety of options on the menu but it’s fresh with proper portion.
Great hotpot in the middle of Manhattan!
