One of my favorite restaurants I've ever been to in Chicago. food is delicious and really like the atmosphere. come here for some good food and have a couple drinks with friends. the sweet pea and spicy pork skin are recommended.
Really good Korean food ! Hidden Gem truly
This 25 year old hole in the wall really reminded us the street restaurants in Korea. The cafeteria chairs, square block tables where you have nowhere to put your feet, dark and K-Pop videos playing on TV. It doesn't get anymore authentic then this, and so are the food items. There are no BBQ here, you can get the BBQ kababs cooked for you over the grill though. They are just ok for me. The highlight is the rice cake (the big ones, made from rice, not powder), pork skin, the sweet and spicy chicken and the intestines that we had, the perfect balance of flavor for us, not overly spiced. Another thing is, you don't see the typical coat of oil and grease at the bottom of the plate, including the ones with cheese. We will surely return to check on the hot pots and others. It is definitely not a place for a date, but for a quick Korean street food fix, this is it.
We all love a good Dancen night! Personally I'm obsessed with the fact that they just play nonstop K-Pop music videos on a projector screen. The food is REALLY good, and it's a great place to go and get a little buzzed with friends. I will say the place could be even better if they hired more staff.
I used to love it here! And now, I just don't.
Best korean bar food in Chi
Amazing food! I live nearby and have never had a bad meal. Try the "Fire Chicken with Cheese", it was in Chicago's Best for a very good reason
