They are masters of the burger, so I recommend you try this item first. It pairs deliciously with their lemonade. The meal might put you in a coma, but it is worth it.
Classic burger joint. Quick, attentive, friendly service. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options are the sides and the grilled cheese sandwich. I added tomato, onions, pickles, and mustard, and it was delicious!
Double cheeseburger, fries, and small drink will set you back about $17. I went around 8PM, and they had just run out of ice cream and closed indoor seating. Oh well, no big deal. Fries were hot, but totally flaccid and devoid of seasoning. Homemade root beer was probably the biggest disappointment; flat and syrupy, I would have much rather had a store bought. The burger was fine; very similar to a Sonic double cheeseburger. For the money, there are much, much better burgers to be had elsewhere. I suppose I had high hopes given the restaurant's history-maybe it is only this bad towards the end of the night, or this was an off night. If I go again earlier in the day and it's better, I'll happily update this review. But frankly I don't see myself doing that any time soon.
Step into history for a great burger and a mug of genuine root beer.
Home town favorite with good floats, burger, and fries.
Cute place. Food is good. Burgers are where they shine. Fries are alright and tots are good. Will be back. Will try onion rings next time.
Had the party melt and tots. Delicious!
Fries fried in fish grease is a no go, but beautiful rustic environment with outstanding burgers… this one of the best dating scenes
