Daeho kalbijjim & beef soup

Today, I dined-in Daeho Kalbijim San Mateo and this was our second time in Daeho. Today we got two kalbi tang number 17 as always, but it was not as tasty as the one we got before. It had lots of oil and spice. The beef in soup was good. We liked it. About service: Server Lady was so nice that she remembered our last visit to there. She was a great server. I would be happy if the manager congratulates her.

every time people visit me, I bring them here. it has NEVER failed to amaze people. Spice levels could be a bit more consistent... sometimes level 3 is need-to-take-a-break-between-bites spicy, sometimes it doesn't even register. I feel like it is on the spicier side more often than not, but it's a little embarrassing when I hype up the spice levels to some of my spicier friends and it comes out mild

Nice sit down experience. Great service, well designed interior The kalbi jim was huge. We got it with rice cake, it comes with some vegetable already. Four people could have shared it Kalbi Guksu with ox bone broth was creamy white soup with chewy yam noodle

Very cool restaurant with Korean dishes and sides. Loved how they brought food out to the table and set it on fire right in front of you! It was very exciting and made the meal seem a lot more special, and definitely hot! I had the vegetarian dish with the egg removed, which seemed to be the only vegan option, but it was delicious Would definitely return and have again. The restaurant was small and busy, but the table felt intimate and it was easy to have a conversation. They were also playing some cool music, so overall a great time. I'd love to see more vegan dishes, maybe even with a little tofu ❤️ Vegetarian options: They only really had one vegetarian dish that I saw, and you have to ask to have the egg removed in order to make it vegan. The dish itself was very good though, so I would have it again.

It was simply a great experience! Probably my new favorite place. Will use to impress someone special. Might be ypu!

Delicious, delicious galbi jjim. One large order feeds four very hungry people. Food is always fresh, and service is always attentive.
