Food is great if you can put up with terrible service and uppity attitudes. Over this place. Drop over $200 every time and the staff act like you should be kissing their ****

Amazing experience. Server was polite and attentive. Food was delicious. Happy hour specials allowed us to try more than we normally would have gotten. Desserts are absolutely decadent. Even found street side parking a block away. Definitely at the top of our Denver restaurant go to list. Dietary restrictions: Waiter asked about food allergies, rarely a question we hear.

We really enjoyed D Bar. The happy hour is awesome. The Slider and Bacon Mac & Cheese was phenomenal. Some of the best Mac and cheese I’ve had maybe ever. For a house red wine priced at only $5, it is dang good. -The 22% service charge. I can’t help how I feel about it. I can’t stand these 22% services charges being added at more and more restaurants. The service and food were very good so it wasn’t too big a deal for me. Will be back in again for happy hour and maybe desert next time.

Came here while on a work trip. Exceptional food and service. Travis was wonderful and made sure we had everything we needed. Salmon quinoa bowl was amazing!

Jan 2024 update: I won’t be returning for a while. The food is still great, but a 22% service fee? A bit steep in my opinion. I typically leave over a 20% tip if I’ve enjoyed my night, but not having the option, and not being told this was the case because it’s “written on the menu” is not okay. Also, the hosts could use a little training - two of us walked in when it was very quiet. We were barely acknowledged, told a table was being cleaned but were taken past all the empty tables inside to be sat on the patio next to a loud 10-top. Not even given a table on the patio somewhat distanced from them….absolutely unacceptable. Jan 2023: This spot is really cute, bright and welcoming. They have a great happy hour, but don’t waste your time on a basic margarita or mojito. Their specialty cocktails are off the chain! I had two dessertinis - an orange chai creamsicle & an espresso martini. Both were making my mouth water for more, and the pours were strong. The beignets (can’t go wrong with the raspberry filling) & churros were a great treat, and were equally fun to watch the pastry chefs create. I was very pleased that my experience took a positive turn after I was rudely greeted by the hostess and sat facing the kitchen door when the restaurant was less than half full. Our server was kind enough to reseat us.

UPDATE 2: Three out of our party of six now have norovirus, most definitely from this establishment. They all had sweet potato fries and the rest of us did not. These 3 days of illness resulted in us missing our flight back home and paying hundreds for a replacement. Thanks a lot. Not only has the food become bland and forgettable, but also hazardous to eat. Beware. UPDATE: my husband and brother-in-law both got food poisoning. Avoid this establishment, it has lost its commitment to quality and sickened our party. I'm sad to say that this place has really gone downhill. I've been going to this restaurant since the early 2010s (since they were in their previous, tiny location). I've been a patron dozens of times and have brought many others to this spot for years. After moving away, I was very excited to return for the first time in a few years. So many of my favorites tasted bland and subpar. Everything had exploded in price. Our server was very kind but everyone else was irritated and unfriendly. Even the bathrooms were poorly kept and lackluster. I'm so disappointed at the state of their food and service and won't be returning.
