So incredibly crowded. Long lines. It’s clear this place has quite a following. I, however, wasn’t thrilled with my bagel and cream cheese. The parking situation is tough. There are so few spaces. The staff was very friendly and we’re working extremely quickly to get orders completed.
As a big foodie, few places really leave a memory with their food. This place left me DREAMING of their bagels. I have never had a bagel this good in my entire life. Cacio y pepe (cheese and pepper) sourdough bagel topped with avocado, arugula, red onion, cherry tomato, capers, balsamic glaze, and sea salt. It's been awhile since a bagel left me feeling in love but the only ring I ever need is now made of sourdough.
First visit to CHB. Placed order Fri afternoon for Sat am pick up. Easy to park, get in and out, service was friendly and prompt. We LOVED the bagels, not so huge, great texture inside and light crunch outside, accompanying schmears were delicious. Lox box authentic and delicious. Will definitely be back for more!
I get it. I’m a New Yorker, I should gatekeep the notion of any good bagels outside of the tristate area. But after stepping into here and trying one of these perfect things, it’s easy to rethink what a bagel could and should be. Sourdough alone is a hole (ha) new take on the idea, one worth its own page in the “How to Bagel” handbook. Most importantly, creating and running this business out of covid represents all that is good in 615. Love you guys.
Delicious bagels. Thinner than a classic NY style bagel, but really really good and the best I’ve had in Nashville (better than Proper Bagel). Would go out of my way for these. Long line on the weekends.
