Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

I've been to 47 out of 50 states and eaten in various restaurants. This is the best Cracker Barrel.

Our waitor was new and was really trying his best. U believe the intended purpose for dining at Cracker Barrell is to be "Home Cooking" away from home. Unfortunately they fell severely far from that. The fries tasted undercooked reheated. The gravy tasted like a knockoff McCormicks powder formula. Kids burger was below subpar, and the chicken fried steak was more likell a burger deep fried to resemble a real steak. The white gravy was lukewarm and had the consistency of mashed potatoes. Bottom line...massive disappointment and cannot see returning anytime soon. Not sure what happened to this old beloved franchise.

Parking: Several spots at least 60 spread around the perimeter of the building. Kid-friendliness: Kids menu and lots of cool toys in the front area when you walk in and more. Wheelchair accessibility: The front area is wheelchair accessible.

Old time classic I have ignored for awhile , however has fast become grandsons favorite. Feels like comming home.
