The Pasty should be the first dinner or lunch stop for all visitors. This location has grown so much since I last visited, but the vibe is exactly the same. Extremely delicious and hearty food, staff who are cooler than everyone, and a welcoming, relaxed vibe all around. My go-to is the Pilgrim, with a thanksgiving dinner shoved into a perfectly baked doughey package. Also recommend the Mexican and the Royale with Cheese. Add in a side of mushy peas and you'll be content for the rest of the day. The beer selection is great, too. Vegetarian options: There's a long list of vegan versions of the non-veg menu. They're all great. If your meat based option is sold out, I highly recommend seeing if there's a vegan option.
Moody vibe, great beer list and plenty of options for vegetarian, vegan or gluten free folks.
Arrived at 7pm. Music super loud. Multiple tables waiting to be bussed. 1 visible, very cranky server said to not sit down at a table until clean. Table finally cleaned at 7:25. Order not taken (including 1st soda/water) until 8. Food arrived, with drinks, at 8:30. Group ordered the Roast Beef Sarnie, Chicken Pot Pie, and Hatch chili burger, 2 sodas and 1 iced tea. The pasties were tasty. Total before to was $70ish. Not sure I'd go back to that location.
It was great just had to wait to get served. But other than that it's a great place to eat.
This is a fantastic place to bring dates, small or large groups of people, or even just grabbing something for take out. The best part is that they have a wide variety of cuisine so you can cover pretty much every style of food that someone wants. I'd eat here every day if I could.
Cornish Patsy is one of my favorite restaurants for the price, ambience, and food! The chicken pot pie patsy is my go-to. Also love their oven chips with bacon, garlic and cheese
