On Tuesday, April 16, 2024, we took friends to dinner who had never been to Connors before. We had a reservation for 6:30 PM for six guests. Upon arrival we were greeted with a smile and promptly escorted to our table. Once seated our waitress provided us with glasses of water while we were deciding on pre-dinner drinks and cocktails. We also decided to order a few appetizers to share with the table, including the Truffle Deviled Eggs and the Crispy Calamari, both of which are highly recommended. The calamari are extremely tender and very well seasoned. The main courses ranged from Ribeye Steaks, Halibut to the Citrus Marinated Shrimp. Everyone was extremely satisfied with their choices. The steaks were cooked as ordered, which is hard to come by these days. All entrees were delicious! Although we were pretty much stuffed, we decided on the German Upside Down Chocolate Cake and the Strawberry Shortcake for dessert. The chocolate cake was absolutely my favorite... rich in chocolate, with a hint of coconut and a side of vanilla ice cream. Absolutely to die for and a must try! The shortcake was equally delicious, light and refreshing. Overall, yet another outstanding dining experience at Connors in Fort Myers! We will most definitely be back soon for more delicious food.
