Pretty average Cantonese food.
Fun vibe and generally good food. Not every dish was great but it was all good.
Congee Village is a NY standard. Great menu, but typical rude, curt chinatown staff. They served us only branches for the Chinese broccoli dish, so maybe they just didn’t like us in general.
The food was always pretty good! The service this time is outstanding, sitting on the ground floor! Keep up the good work.
Very good ambiance but the food we had was all mediocre to not good. We got Peking Pork Chops (picture), Chicken and Mushroom rice bake, corn with pine nuts, a beef and noodle casserole (pictures), and some of the dim sum buns. the pork chops were too sweet, the casserole got cold and turned to a block pretty quickly, and the corn was just canned corn with pine nuts (it might be our fault for ordering this dish). Nothing was that good but I actually want to come back and try more here.
Very sizable proportions low price and high quality food
Solid Cantonese showcasing all of the classic dishes. Fast and tasty Chinese in a big and busy restaurant which is knocking out Chinese comfort foods - congee, Chinese vegetable (get the pea shoots) and a wide range of seafood and meat dishes. Notes about scoring: 1 star = Memorably awful 2 star = Not good and would avoid 3 star = Good but would not return 4 star = Recommended 5 star = Incredible and must visit if you can
