Church and Union Charleston

We went on Christmas Day so it was buffet rather than the regular menu. We had a wonderful time and the service was great. We will definitely go again, next time not on a holiday.

Delightful. Although I didn't have a drink the bar seemed to be efficient in providing for the customers. On to the food! This was my choice for restaurant week which by my account gives you the most accurate picture of a restaurant under pressure which C&U handled quite well. Upon entering the dining area I was greeted with a very quaint and cozy atmosphere. The lighting and seating added to the ambiance. Our waiter was very attentive to all of his assigned tables. He kept moving, giving us all the attention we needed. The kitchen had our dishes out with amazing speed and accuracy, considering a full house. The menu offered choices that were flavorful, well portioned and varietal. Make this a stop when visiting historic Charleston.

This place is not only amazing to see... the food and service is incredible. This is a must see place of you come to Charleston. Love love love it.

Man was this place great! Cocktails the food, the ambiance, just wonderful!

We had a reservation for 6 for the New Years Ever dinner, we were sat at a round table the seats 12. We had to ask to be moved as we were having to text each other so we knew what the another was saying, it was loud also! They found us a table while we were on our 1st course. The main course arrived, the steak was awful, the Mac and cheese shells were hard as a rock and couldn'tbe eaten. The stuffed salmon was watery, perhaps frozen? Dessert was an epic fail! I have never been so disappointed in my life! The surprise proposal was heard by all 6, the only good thing that night in that establishment!! I would never recommend anyone eat there!! Don't waste your money!

My and my family’s experience was incredible. We came in the day so the sun was shining beautifully through the stained glass windows. We were seated quickly and our waitress was amazing. Our food came out extremely less than 20 minutes afree ordering, and it was delicious! I had the praline French toast I will definitely return when I visit Charleston again.
