Great Gem! Although slated to close 3/31/2023, a local favorite for so many years. Try it before they close.
Dry meat. Don't think they cook it fresh themselves on site. Probably microwaved to warm up. Chicken was sawdust. Bake potato was old. We were first of day so most likely leftovers warmed up. So not impressed. Same experience a few years ago didn't go back. Because they were closing and they have a following, tried again. Save your money. Ours ended up in the trash.
Like this place, to bad the property was sold to a land developer.
This Chris n Pitts is the place we used to eat when I was young. It is sad to say goodbye to it. There has been a lot of memories here. Food is always excellent service is always great. We will miss this place. Thank goodness there's still another two Chris n Pitt's left
Hasn't changed great bbq, great service. Prices went up . But totally worth it Kid-friendliness: Great selection and portion for kids .
Prices seemed to have risen but I'll attribute that to Covid. Otherwise the BBQ pork ribs and baby backs were delicious as usual. Tried the broasted chicken too and it was moist and flavourful. This place has been a family staple for decades and will continue to be. The Whittier location is set to close March 31 2023. Sad.
Best prime rib, ever!!!the ribs are also so good.
