My first time at this Chili's. The other ones were far superior. Not sure if this was a busy night or... Service was very spotty. The employees for the most part had blinders on and would not catch your eye. I had to get up and get my own condiments from the bar after several unsuccessful attempts to ask employees who ignored me. The burger was dry and the fries were soggy. . Not the best combination. The waiter did not return to see how we were doing till we were almost finished. I will return but the next time had better be better.
Great service good food made to my liking which is unusual these days.
Went back today. The young lady at the front desk, cranky brunette, don't take your bad day on customers. Refused a table to us in the corner reasoning that there is no server while there was a family dining at the next table. Had to walk out.
Been going to the one in Santee since I live out that way. I prefer this location. Doesn't seem cramped.
I did takeout service. While they were hit with a rush one lady did her best to complete my order. She also apologized! Parking: There is plenty of good parking spaced in very easy walking distance.
Well … I and my family went to Chili’s (La Mesa) on Saturday. I asked the waitress who was serving us (she was very nice and tentative ) for a scotch. After a minute another waiter showed up and said: here is your Jim. I told him that I ordered a whisky. He took the glass and came back with the same glass and said I was mistaken it is Whisky but when I had a sip, it was totally Jim …. I did not like the incident as I felt stupid and fooled around. At the end it is not big deal since we had good food and nice atmosphere and service except this incident, but I think your clients should have a bit more respect because people can tell the difference between Jim and Whiskey
