If you liked the catfish from David's Catfish, DO NO go to Chet's. Ended up throwing away the catfish and hushpuppies. Not the quality of food I used to get from Chet's. Will not be back.
Would love to try your food out but your hours are so limited that you miss your prime crowd. When you have to have the whole inside seating area shut down and have a food trailer in the front with 2x4 tables, it is time to start doing something else. This is a classic example of someone being super cheap and not wanting to barely squeak by. You are only open from 10:30 am to 3 pm Wed-Sat. You are missing all of your people that come after work as well as Sunday. Chet's used to be a Pensacola icon. I hate to see it be neglected like this because they used to have the best marinated grouper in town. Response to Gregg Williams (Chet’s employee/owner using fake account): This really does set the bar low for you to go after me individually. I never said that I disliked Chet’s seafood. Even went on to compliment the marinated grouper. I can get past the outdoor setup as well as long as it were not limited hours while everyone such as myself is at work (unable to break away). Definitely will make sure that I do not visit from this point forward.
Best seafood in town and the owners are fantastic people, highly recommended
Tell Roger Pro to STHU Everyone else loves this place. I have for decades, even with the food truck.
My favorite seafood spot. The mullet is delicious.
Best mullet ever! Wonderful people, from the owners to the staff. Parking: Handicapped spaces available
We try to go every weekend. Best grouper sandwich in town! Consistently good every time we've gone.
