Cherry Cricket Ballpark

Came over after a Rockies game and there was a 45 minute wait, totally understandable. We had our little one who struggles with sitting still and asked to try to get us in a little sooner. The staff accommodated us and got us in within 10 minutes. Absolutely amazing service, food was great and atmosphere was family and adult friendly! Highly recommend

Lunch review. We had a great experience here. We arrived right at opening and sat at the bar (hence the empty looking photos-it filled up QUICKLY). Barbara was our bartender and was welcoming and extremely efficient. Props to her for elevating our experience. I got the Jammin Poblano Burger, and the wife got the Burger of the Month bowl style. They have a list of burgers that have won awards, both local and regional. Both dishes were solid. Hot sauce already on the bar, a great aioli for fries dipping, Wide array of choices for beers, and I went from the IPA to a Banquet. All folks are happy. They had Black Cherry White Claw, so happy wife, happy life. The Ballpark location is right around all sorts of stuff, so it is a good starting or ending point. Or middle. Fairly priced considering you are downtown. Cool aquarium on the restaurant floor. I love burgers. Just be aware that their burgers are HUGE. The awards are won for taste, but probably also for the extremely creative toppings they mix and match. Very impressive. I prefer the simple approach for my burgers, but I realize I am in the minority. But, the place is sort on all top burger lists in Denver, so it kind is something you need to check off regardless of your preferred style. I give it a four for now, as I need a few more trips to officially prop it up to a five. But, I definitely recommend, and see you there.

Came in wanting to get some drinks before the Rockies game. We’re visiting from Mexico and DID NOT feel welcome at all. When we were waiting on the hostess to get us a table, the person whom we assume to be the manager heard us speaking Spanish and told the hostess to give us a table so we could “get away from the door,” another host heard her and laughed at her comment. The hostess gave us a table at the kids section (the restaurant was nowhere near halfway full) regardless of the fact that it was only adults in our party. We saw more people coming in after us and strangely enough they were all being sat at the normal side of the restaurant, not the kids section (yes, we later realized that they were all white and given priority). Server brought us waters and ignored us when we thanked him. We did feel offended and discriminated against so we decided to go to the bar next door, when leaving The Cherry Cricket, the hostess, who when we came in looked not-so happy about us being there suddenly told us “thank you for coming!” along with the previously mentioned manager, very cheerfully, as if they were happy we were leaving. Couple of seconds later the manager came after us asking why we were leaving so soon as if she hadn’t said what we heard her saying. We genuinely did not feel comfortable speaking to her after the way we were treated so we just told her we did not feel welcomed and left. By the way, 4Play (the bar next door we went to) is a way better bar with great music, amazing and welcoming staff AND great food. Definitely check them out!!! Thank you Cherry Cricket, without ya’ll being so (you know what “r*cist”) we wouldn’t have gotten to know 4Play.

Terrible experience in this place, since we arrived they realized that we were talking In Spanish and They moved us to the corner when there were many other tables alone in front. They were rude and had a racist behavior.

Great burger and sandwich place located next to Coors Field. Full bar. Friendly and fast service. Arcade and impressive fish tank to occupy kids. Clean bathrooms. Parking: Located next to Coors Field so finding parking can be challenging.

The burgers never disappoint. Had the 303 burger, one of my favorites. Great fries and onion rings, burgers cooked to the temperature you request, decent beer selection... This place has it all!
