Pho restaurant nearby CSU San Marcos conveniently located near the freeway. An average Pho noodle for an above average price (price has gone up). Service is decent, seems like their to-go orders are taking away more time and service from dinning in customers. One suggestion would be raise the price for to-go orders or lower price for the dinning in customers to encourage more dinners. Besides, hot dishes are better served on the spot anyway. Middle of the road dinning experience, there are better Pho places even in the North County. 2.8/5 ⭐️

The best Vietnamese restaurant in North County. The staff is always friendly and the food is delicious. The restaurant is super clean with plenty of parking.

Bún bò ngon quá. Nước vừa miệng, mắm ruốc ngon, rau nhiều, thịt nhiều. Tô bún không quá to dễ gây ngán.

The food is solid, and the service is fantastic. The restaurant itself could use some maintenance with cracked both seating everywhere, and a generally dated appearance. Parking can be rough but there's always something available if you're willing to walk a bit.

Chef’s Pho and Grill has been my go to place for the last year when my partner gets wings and things. I typically get a rice plate, spring rolls, and of course a Thai tea. Well today I ordered the fried rice which tasted ok but ended up being a huge mistake when half way through I found a 5” black hair. It’s upsetting because it’s of course above and beyond disgusting but now I don’t know where I’ll go on Wing nights and also because it could very easily be avoided if they would just wear HAIRNETS! Literally so simple… well I of course called them, they apologized and gave me a full refund and promised it will never happen again. I personally will never go to this establishment again after this. But I’ll let whoever is reading this decide on their own.

When we come see our son at the local college, we always eat pho here. It is sooo delicious and full of flavor! We order the protein rolls also. We are always satisfied when we come here! My only downfall is that they are not dog friendly. I wish they were.
