Came here because I had some time to kill before picking up my mom at SFO. Also, I've been following Chef Reina on Instagram for years! I'm so happy I stopped by and I'm already looking forward to my next visit. I had a bit of a food tour before coming here so I really wasn't that hungry at all but I ended up getting the crunch wrap. Kay, who was working there was so incredibly nice, walked me through the menu, and we gushed about NYC's vegan food scene. The crunch shop was incredible. It was packed to the rim with all the right flavors and textures. If you can't decide what to get in you're hungry this is definitely going to fill you up - I wasn't able to finish at all. There isn't anywhere to eat inside, but it's an order at the window situation and then there's a table outside to eat at. Also, if you need a restroom, you can use the gorgeous public library, which is just a block or two up. I'm dying to come back with a big appetite and try the birria as well as some other items! Vegetarian options: It's vegan and therefore 100% vegetarian Dietary restrictions: It's 100% vegan so vegetarian and pescatarian, by default
Vegetarian options: Everything is vegan
AMAZING PLANT BASED FILIPINO FOOD. we got the longsilog, chick’n katsu and ube pancakes for sunday brunch. so so delicious! beautiful view of the mountains, amazing service and delectable food :-) highly recommend !!
Had a stir fried dish that tasted horrible. No flavor, overly cooked or something else. Hard to describe. Poorly created.
Me and my friends are not vegan or vegetarian and usually dislike fake meats. This food and vegan meats were absolutely amazing. We loved every item we bought and I will be back soon for more! The staff helped us to choose dishes as we didn't know what is what and we were surprised how good vegan food can be. I want more places like this. Great job!
CALL AHEAD OF TIME TO MAKE SURE THEY ACTUALLY HAVE FOOD AVAILABLE FOR YOU TO EAT. We found this place on TT and all the food featured in the video looked amazing. Drove about 40 minutes to this place only to find out that practically the whole menu was crossed off; meaning they didn't have it. Sad cuz I was really looking forward to eating this food. I was told they ran out of everything on Christmas; today is the 28th, I guess they don't restock their products. AGAIN, CALL AHEAD OF TIME TO MAKE SURE THEY ACTUALLY HAVE FOOD AVAILABLE FOR YOU TO EAT. NOT SURE IF ILL TRY EATING HERE AGAIN.
Super cute restaurant to grab vegan Filipino food from! Chef Reina of Nick's on Grand now has her own spot in Brisbane, CA! My favorite dish is the Tocilog, which is a Filipino breakfast item dish with a sweet vegan BBQ meat, vegan fried egg and garlic rice. Also love the Fried Chick'n sandwich with fries. Yummy!! You can also get care packages to cook the vegan meats at home. It's next to a really nice park and there is plenty of free parking on the street. They accept cash and cards. Vegan food on the peninsula is rare, please support!
