They used to be great, but, you know how this goes, changed Ownership or Management. So this is not the “Charley’s” that we all knew and loved. The name is the only thing that is the same. Trust me, chopped (hopefully) beef now, the only “Steak” is the one driven into our nostalgic hearts. Most egregious, and why Uber will refund the purchase price, was they completely DISREGARDED our Allergen Request. Unfortunately, we did not realize that until ingesting the food. Won’t say, “Eating” because this place is such a disgusting rip-off that I’d rather not associate that action with it. EVERY single “Extra” was disregarded on all three of our sandwiches, but certainly charged for. The trip from the restaurant took about seven minutes, but what “Meat” there was was dry and appeared abused if not flat out tortured. Assuming it came from a cow, I hope it at least gave them what they wanted to know. I’ve written hundreds of reviews and love cheesesteaks. I feel like I should contact TPD to file an assault complaint. OH, granted Uber has fees, but THREE Sandwiches and one order of Fries was $ SEVENTY-SIX. 15% tip included. The “Meat,” I feel like I should spell it “Meet” the way Plant Based things alter spelling, did not even cover the bun. My wife said the fries were “Fine,” but the clearly canned cheese sauce was not. She even pities the can it came in. I just posted this, and the reviewer below me had pictures and it looked NOTHING like ours did.
