Beyond friendly staff and great food!
Regrettably, my visits to this Charley's have been marred by the presence of a mature woman with dark brown hair who exhibits behavior reminiscent of a disgruntled teenager. Her aggressive demeanor and poor attitude have, unfortunately, cast a shadow on your business. I, along with my coworkers, have encountered her unpleasantness on multiple occasions, leading me to reconsider patronizing the establishment. I share this feedback in the hope that the dedicated manager, who stands out for his pleasant and kind approach, addresses this issue to maintain the positive image of the company.
I bought two sandwiches yesterday, one of them was chicken and the other was steak. The chicken poisoned my mom. It had some bacteria or it had been cooked for a long time. My mom couldn't stop vomiting
Not even close!!! I'm from The Philadelphia area and I've grown up eating the best cheesesteaks made and yours doesn't make the cut at all!!!!!
The food is always good, however this time I got a side of cheese for my fries (in which I had to pay extra for, which was no biggie) except I didn't get the side of cheese. I called multiple times and no one answered and that's the only reason I'm even leaving a review.
Well that was quick! I am leaving my honest experience below but I received a personal phone call from the manager less than an hour after posting this review. He apologized profusely and offered to buy my lunch tomorrow. He explained that my experience today was caused but a number of things that went wrong. It is clear that he intends to please his customers so I am updating my overall rating. I feel better about this place now than if I hadn't had the bad experience earlier today. _______________ My original post from earlier today... _________________ I ordered online at 11:00 a.m. I arrived at 11:05 a.m. and saw that my order was number 1 on the monitor. A person who ordered in person after I arrived walked away with their order before me. At 11:12 a.m. the cook finally placed what turned out to my steak on the grill. She had been working on other orders in the meantime. When she finally handed me my order at 11:14 a.m. I asked her why she hadn't started my order until 12 minutes after I placed my order online she pointed to another employee and said "ask her". I said why should I ask her when you are the one who cooked my order? She completely ignored me and refused to respond. This is the fourth consecutive time that I place an order online at this (Countryside Mall) location before leaving my house and arrived at the restaurant to find that my order had not even been started. Why have online ordering if you aren't going to have the food prepared when the customer arrives. I have also had other problems at this location in the past. I have put up with it because the food is good. There is standalone Charley's four minutes from this location in the food court at Countryside mall. Even though it is farther from my home it will hopefully be less frustrating. The company shouldn't lose a customer just because the operator of this location is lousy.
