Wonderful service, amazing menu from a talented Chef! Sallie’s Bistro is a Dunedin gem. Five stars!

We had an excellent time. We were going just for dinner but we found a memorable culinary experience!! Don't let the location fool you, you'll find a refined little restaurant and VIP treatment from the moment you cross the door. Appetizers were large in size and extremely delicious! I've personally never had escargot so tender and flavorful before. Great wine selection, and one of a kind collection of Belgian beers! Incredibly tasty entrees. I strongly recommend the pork tenderloin with Jager sauce (OMG!!) And please, save some room (if you can) for the desserts. I can't remember the name of the one with chocolate mousse, but I intended to have just a couple of spoons and I ended up eating it all . Thank you Chef Michelle for putting so much love and art in your food! Thank you Kiran and Rafik for such warm and distinguished service!! We'll be back soon!!

Absolutely wonderful dinner. This place is very unassuming from the outside, sharing a strip mall with Walmart. However, the inside is a charming little bistro. Service was on point and friendly. The Belgian beer selection is a nice touch. The food is definitely the star here. Appetizers are humongous and delectable. I had the carbonnade and my wife had the fish cream stew. Fantastic dishes. I am entirely pleased with our dinner here. A great date night.

My wife and I went here for our wedding anniversary. The filet mignon was cooked to perfection, the wine was excellent and the chocolate mousse was one of the best I’ve had. This place goes beyond great food…the service is top notch. Kieran and Michele (the owners) prepared an anniversary card for us, our table had rose pedals on it, and Kieran offered us a complimentary drink for the special occasion. They are truly remarkable hosts and I can’t recommend this place enough. Their attention to detail had us talking about the food and service all the way home. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a special night out.

Excellent Service and the food was delicious. They wrote me a birthday card, and I received a complimentary glass of fine wine, and an soup and Salmon salad that was unbelievable.

The excellent ratings this restaurant gets are well deserved. Dinner here with some friends was as enjoyable as any I can recall. The food was delicious, the service team attentive and timely, the atmosphere charming, and the prices more than reasonable. A great value, and a certain return destination. Its unassuming storefront entrance belies the quality and comfort of the tasteful interior and the top-shelf dining experience.

Absolutely fantastic! It is a must to try! Great menu, great wine, great beers and excellent food! It would also be a great place for a small get together!
