Cellar Door Provisions

We are nondrinkers for health reasons and when we looked at the menu, we realized this wasn’t friendliest place for us to go if we wouldn’t be drinking wine. They had no nonalcoholic beverage options beyond sparkling water (not even coffee or tea), which was disappointing and surprising. We felt that the service we received was subpar relative to the other tables as a result of us not drinking, unfortunately. We did enjoy the food, but did find a ton of bones in the fish, making it very difficult to eat. If you are a wine drinking, I’m sure you’ll very much enjoy this place (they had a great selection!). If you’re not, I’d consider passing.

This place consistently delivers some of the most original and divinely delicious small plates anywhere in the City. The price point is insanely reasonable & the atmosphere is unpretentious. I keep coming back & there is always something item on the menu i have never eaten before and it is oh soooo good!

The burger was amazing. Did not expect this. The tortellini was also delicious. The host made excellent wine recommendations. We'll definitely be back.

Probably the first restaurant I’ve been to where the drinks were light years better than the food. Dishes left a lot to be desired. Staff was nice.

Amazing! This is the first time I've ever been shocked by how good the desserts are! Truly live up to the expectations for Michelin recommendations!

I dream of this restaurant. It’s a niche craft restaurant with a deep appreciation for local produce. Their menu and dining room is simple which adds to the experience. Their dishes are boasting with flavor and it transports me to Europe where the tomatoes actually taste like tomatoes. If you have an elevated palate you will appreciate Cellar Door Provisions. 10/10. One of my favorite restaurants in Chicago
