Cash Only

I've been frequenting this bar since '09 and have seen several ownership changes. One of my favorite bars of all time. The frozen Irish Coffee's are amazingly delicious

Really great oak cabinetry around the bar. You can tell it's very old school and not like antique to where it's noticeably older. Whoever is the one that keeps up with the bar and keeping the wood and great shape is amazing. I really like that place. Customer service is awesome. Bartenders are awesome, very quaint place to kind of chill and relax on a date

Drinks were great, Whiskey Apple was incredible, they crush the apples right in front of you. Whiskey selection was good, any they had $5 shots. Fairly divey, billards in the back.

The bar staff is very friendly and quick to get you drinks. We had their iconic whiskey apple . It's is very good! Simple but very refreshing! Wheelchair accessibility: Both front doors open wide and their is seating that could easily accommodate a wheel chair. Also a strait path to the restroom. Although passing through the actual bar area would be a bit tight when busy. But doable

This is the best value bar in downtown. It's like a classy dive bar. Or a budget semi-classy place. Beautifully crafted all wood bar, narrow compact space, pool table room in the back, best whiskey selection I know of and always a list of at least a half dozen $5 whiskeys. I always ask the bartender to choose for me and I've never had a $5 whiskey I didn't like... Because: FIVE DOLLARS. Oranges and apples pressed for juice to order. Johnny Cash on the walls and the jukebox, no plastic music, drinks, or payments. The crowd is everyone: young, medium aged, friends, dates, wandering parties. None of the lush fixture drunks planted in the corner all night like you find at the really divey bars... This is like a "hip" dive bar without the "hip" prices. Owners name is "Cash" (but different spelling), so the Cash Only branding has a triple meaning. I always say that the best, most comfortable and welcoming bars are owned/operated by genuinely good people and you can tell by the "vibe" (Save for the occasional overzealous doorman whose term.is usually short lived), and Cash Only exemplifies my theory. A good owner's cool vibe carries over to the employees, which passes on to the patrons. Here you have that.
