To day 2-24-24 Before 7am the Carnitas ribs were so dry salty and tuff not tender. I know the Grandfather may he rest in peace is not pleased !!You all are bring down his reputation of greatness I am a African American who has eaten at this restaurant for a lot of years. The late 80's Never disappointed until today I threw away $35 . I live in South suburbs to far to return for a refund. No! It's not the same cooks!! No way.

This place is not what it used to be. I've been coming to this place for 30 years but lately carnitas are consistently greasy, cold and one time time were sooo salty we couldn't eat them. Also expensive. I don't expect much of ambience, you know the place is an ugly cave with nasty bathrooms, and poor lighting and I'm ok with that, but bring back the good carnitas Don Pedro made...

Best carnitas around pilsen not expensive and you are able to eat your food inside the restaurant. It's crowded on the weekends service can be faster if there was more than two registers but the food is excellent! Kid-friendliness: Families are welcome with their children!
