Used to really like Captain D's. Today they were out of several of their menu items. The tea containers were not covered, out of Pepsi too!Food quality lower than expected, and the price for 2 people was $31.08. Fast food in general is becoming a waste of time and money!
I used the drive thru.My order was missing extra hushpuppies The green beans leaked liquid on my food so my fish n hushpuppies were mush.My stuffed crab were over cooked almost burned.I called the store after I got home n ask for the manager an in a rude voice I was asked why you want to talk to the manager.I told her I'm calling about my order I just got.She mumbled something n hung up on me.Called back n she ask what u want me to do.Why didn't u bring it back? I can promise u I won't be wasting my money there again There's no excuse for being talk to so rudely.
There is no reason why I should be served fish with PLASTIC in it. Literal plastic. Also the chicken tenders were puny and they were basically all breading. The drive thru window had no help and you could not understand the lady taking our order. The only redeemable quality was that the food was hot. But that didn’t stop the 1 inch sized chicken tenders, fish with PLASTIC in it and the undercooked hush puppies. I wish I could attach the picture of the sad looking chicken I received. This meal was $40!!!! Outrageous pricing.
I ordered a family feast with Mac and cheese and green beans. I patiently waited exactly 48 minutes in the drive thru to receive fish cooked in black oil, Mac in cheese with maybe 3 scoops in it and burned cheese on the side of the container. This is extremely bad service. I was patient when the manager said they was out of okra, hush puppies, tartar sauce and that they was cooking out of 1 pot. I asked him if the order was correct and he assured me it was, only for ke to arrive home to a mess. This is awful and I would never provide this type service to anyone. Beyond dissatisfied.
Absolutely ridiculous and disappointing order of funnel cake sticks. Hardly ANY powdered sugar on them at all!!!! The best part!!! The kids on the back preparing the food need to be more focused on their jobs than communicating and playing on their phones with their friends. Very disappointing and unprofessional
I placed an order online and when I arrived to pick it up it wasn't ready. (No big deal it was lunchtime) so, I patiently waited. There was a young lady up front and a couple of guys in the kitchen. A gentleman (white) entered the restaurant in front of me. He waited to be helped as well. The manager had come to the front after we both waited for a few minutes to be helped. She acknowledged him and had taken his order. She handed the gentleman his money (cash and in quarters) due to being short on change (bills) and stating she was getting ready to go to the bank (she was carrying a black change bag). He stepped back and she never acknowledged me. However, we made eye contact a few times. She never spoke to me and she went on to the back. The young lady in the front ignored me as well. The guy (in the hoodie) in the kitchen making orders saw me and asked me what I had from the kitchen. He asked if I had a online order. I replied yes. He then began to make my food and handed it into the pass through to the young lady working the front she bagged it and handed it to me sideways holding the bag by one handle (as if it worked her nerves to help me) after the guy in the kitchen told her whom I was several times, it was clear she didn't care. Now I never asked why my food wasn't ready when I arrived and I never got an attitude with anyone. So, why was I treated in such a poor manner? Who knows....The food quality? Not good at all. The salmon was very dry and and burned on the bottom and rice was overcooked and dry, coleslaw was hot and the broccoli was undercooked. I had already wasted half of my break waiting on the food that I ordered 15 minutes ahead of time before I arrived. I will take this as a lesson learned; I will never come back to this place again. The service was awful from the manager and the young lady and the food was terrible.
This is what our Captain D’s Family Feast dinner looked like after getting home last night. We ordered from the Trussville location. The slaw was sour and our entire order was cold. I’m still trying to understand why we waited 20 minutes for this. We ended up throwing it all the trash.
I love Captain D's. But their service is so bad. I hate going there
