Drove by twice and they were close without a notice. Phone number wasn’t working. What a shame I had to take business elsewhere.
Visited with friends on a Saturday night, the humidor was empty and under construction, he had some cigars available at the bar. Apparently he is doing some remodeling, adding a kitchen, coffee shop, lockers for members. The owner was generous, apologetic, hospitable. Will visit again, hopefully they will be fully stocked.
Not open during posted hours. Although there was a guy inside watching people try and get in. 2:25pm on a Thursday.
Lhh it went from being fun til a joke
Was not open! Thanks for nothing !
Came in from a concert at the Fillmore. Was amazing. Thanks so much!
My wife and I were in town for my Mother's birthday. I smoke cigars so I decided to stop by. Cornelius was cool and he just happens to be from Chicago. Which is where I moved to. Cool place and cool owner.
The owner and everyone who worked there was very friendly. I'm going back
This is an updated review made in Summer 2017. I relocated to Denver on 07/02/2017 for a new job and first visited Capitol Cigar around late July. I was so thrilled to find it and have been loyal to this place until the cigars have been nearly depleted and only a few boxes have a few cigars. I was concerned that this place was going to close so I asked and I was told it was due to the pandemic. I just didn't understand how when other cigar lounges are fully loaded with cigars. I went just a few weeks ago, to my surprise there was only one last cigar left out of all the empty boxes. I took the very last one and I stayed for 2 hours enjoying my last one there. I pondered how I could help this business get all the cigars back in stock, but I have no business to get involved in this. I love this place and Cornelius is very cool. I would love to see it go back to how it was pre-pandemic. I'm left with no choice, but to go elsewhere.
