Food is nothing to come back for especially for the really high price. Just another place over charging for corn chips, beans and chicken. Margaritas are $20 a pop and you get a small glass full of ice. 3 swigs and there goes another $20. Had the really expensive steak fajitas and the meat was not delicious. It was hard to chew and fell short of a good meal. The guacamole was good but how hard is that to mess up? You come here to impress a date but not for the food or the hit to the wallet. Flan was really good though. Would be surprised if they are here in 2 years. Not authentic, doesn't stand out. I don't need to go back ever again. Javier's offers better food at this price point.
My husband and I go out to lunch at least four times a week. It was lunch time, we were in the area so we decided to try Calo. We were immediately impressed with the service. I ordered the halibut tacos, which were delicious. He ordered the chicken tostada, which was also delicious. We were seated on the patio, and it was just so beautiful and peaceful. After today, Calo will now be one of our go to lunch places.

Fun atmosphere, great and friendly service, and a menu with lots of delicious options. Today was my first time and it won’t be my last.
Very pricey Mexican food, but worth every penny. A party of 4: after delicious chips, black bean dip, guacamole n salsa, one had a combo plate with custom selections, another had short rib enchiladas, and two of us had Chile Verde. Everyone loved the meal. Probably as good or better Chile Verde as I've ever eaten n we have spent a lot of time in Mexico for our entire adult lives. A quality experience all around. Kid-friendliness: Our 5th wheel was a 10 yr old who liked the rice and his carne asada taco very much. Wait staff catered to him n made him feel special.
