Tom yum spaghetti pasta 5/5 - very unique and delicious! Carbonara pasta 4/5 Green tea cake with green tea lava 4/5 the lava was very thick and not flowy. Matcha soufflé pancake 4.5/5 Parking: Parking can be a challenge to find since the lot is small and cramped
THE GOOD, THE BAD, AND THE UGLY! The good: the presentation of the pancakes were nice The bad: the taste of the pancakes were bland and mediocre. The ugly: The wait time. I couldn’t believe pancakes take an hour to make Do not come here if you are hungry as you will starve while you wait and when you get your food it’ll be bland and lacking taste. The prices of the items are also worth noting. We paid 45 dollars for two orders of their pancakes and 2 beverages. Extremely overpriced and overrated.
Food was decent, the servers were nice and doing their best but the real killer was the wait time for the food. If you go in the evening, expect more than half hour wait.
I came here with a friend specifically for their pasta, as she had raved about it. While I've been here before, my visits usually revolve around their dessert and drinks. Consistently, the staff has been friendly, well-informed about their offerings—including ingredients—and often give helpful suggestions. The cafe provides comfortable indoor and outdoor seating along with enjoyable music. On this occasion, my friend got the carbonara while I tried the Basil Crab Pasta and the Matcha soufflé pancake, both of which lived up to expectations. The soufflé pancake, in particular, always satisfies my sweet tooth with its fluffy, perfectly textured goodness—it's never too heavy on the egg. For those eyeing the tempting soufflé pancakes, it's advisable to place an order in advance as they might require a bit of preparation time.
I've been here twice already, and the food is marvelous! Soufflé takes some time to make, but it is well worth the wait.
Come to eat food. It was pretty good. Spaghetti noodles were nice and al dente. Got spaghetti Tom yum and carbonara. Both dishes came out hot and at a great temperature. The carbonara fit my palette, as I enjoy my food not as salty, with more focus on flavors of the overall dish. Carbonara is usually heavy, as in oily, cheesy, and decadent, but this carbobara in my opinion was quite delectable. The shrimp Tom yum on the other hand was a bit on the too salty and sweet side for my palete. The person whom I ate it with enjoyed it though. They said it was a little light on the seasoning compared to usual, as they have been a customer since before COVID. Overall good experience, they offer water. Water was 10/10. Parking: Not much parking, also in Convoy area where parking in general sucks.
