Cafe Amici Downtown

Cafe amici was wonderful. The food and service were excellent, and as we were leaving, Mossimo stopped us and had us sit back down. Gave us an appertif and some amazing canoli's for our anniversary. If you want truly authentic Italian food and service, this is the place to go fantastico as always

Food was amazing! But service was so slow. We had to go inside and ask for water/our waiter multiple times. Had to flag down a manager to ask for a box and the check. Waiter was just not attentive at all.

Best authentic Italian in town. Wonderful for special occasions and date night. Grilled octopus - Delicious! A must have !

The linguini and clam sauce and the ravioli and mushroom dish were very tasty. Great service but a bit pricey for pasta.

Café Amici in Sarasota is an absolute gem! From the warm ambiance to the exquisite cuisine, every aspect of our dining experience was top-notch. Massimo's delightful attitude towards us made us feel like family . Highly recommend this charming Italian restaurant for a memorable culinary journey!

For the price of their food, the plates AND the service should be on point. It wasn't. We sat patiently at our table for 15 minutes before our server came by to take a drink order. The tap water smelled like reclaim, prompting us to buy a bottle of Panna. Calamari is disappointing as it is only rings. Caeser salad tasted like Restaurant Depot dressing. The Ossobuco came out cold, on a cold plate, and our server didn't even bother to check on us until long after my wife was finished with her meal.

One of our favorite places. Food is always great. The waitstaff is fabulous.
