Bully Boy

We arrived to our reservation and were seated. This was an absolutely awful visit from START TO FINISH 1. We were seated and gave a menu from next door la restaurant and took another twenty minutes to get an accurate menu.. 2. It took 36 (literally 36) minutes to get our drinks. In that time of waiting our server had not even been over to check, put food in, NOTHING. 3. Got our drinks FINALLY. Went to put in food. Ordered Brussels sprouts, rock shrimp, and VEGGIE gyoza. The other person in my party doesn’t eat meat. The Hispanic gentleman running food had our rock shrimp tempura, he brought it to THREE other tables, letting people look and breathe all over it before he realized it was ours. We of course asked for a fresh one and were insulted that he even thought that was ok. He then lied and said no this one is new, we both said sir. With our own eyes, we watched you take that food and show and try to serve it to three other tables that told you it wasn’t theirs. Please don’t insult anyone’s intelligence. He got angry and took it away. (To note. When he brought the fresh one. He slammed it down on the table with an attitude.) My partner who doesn’t eat meat was eating a Gyoza and it broke open. The filling appeared to be beef. There was NO visible vegetables etc. we asked our server, he said it definitely looks like meat. We then asked for a manager. Who said he didn’t know. We at this point, were completely fed up and let him know we would not be finishing any part of this meal and would be leaving. They called after to say that it’s a meat substitute they use in their gyoza. I have a picture of it. Why would you need to use a meat subsitute In vegetarian gyoza and not just fill it with minced vegetable? Overall this was an AWFUL experience, restaurant, service, attitude. First and last time and we won’t be back.

One of the coolest places to dine out on the beltline. The architecture and interiors of the place are just amazing. You instantly feel like being transported to a high end garden with beautiful tree plants every where. The servers were probably the highlight. Very attentive and friendly, made our experience even better. The second highlight is their crispy brussel sprouts. I can still taste the scrumptious blend of flavors. It’s perfectly sweet and crunchy along with a hint of spice. The cod was our second favorite. Cooked to perfection with a flavorful sauce accompanied on a bed of vegetables. The pork belly was a good attempt but definitely my least favorite. But overall a great place to eat and can’t wait for second round.

I’ve heard such great things about this place and it was okay. The seared scallop sushi roll wasn’t that flavorful but the teriyaki salmon with perfect crunchy vegetables was delicious. A little slow on service, really cute date night vibes or just dinner with friends inside. I didnt like the smoke inside from the kitchen because it left my hair and clothes smelling food.

Fantastic vibes, the rock shrimp tempura?! So good! Our bartender Riley was an absolute delight! We will be back for sure!

Nice atmosphere, good music and decoration, a lot of green plants. Food tasted good and good portion size but it could've been more flavorful. Kinda overpriced too, since it was more like a average type of place, very lowkey. The layout, architecture and seating could have been more well thought out in terms of higher quality. Noise level was high, I had to almost yell to speak to my friend who was sitting literally right next to me. The waiters were nice but they forgot our drinks and soy sauce that normally comes with the sushi roll. For it not being super packed, the service could have been a little faster. I've been wanting to come to Bully boy for weeks now and this experience was kinda disappointing, most likely won't come back.
