My family decided to give this place a try on Saturday night. We made reservations online so we walked right in and sat down. Started the meal with pulled flank empanadas..FANTASTIC!! We shared a platter of flank steak, skirt steak, shrimp, chicken, & sausage. Everything was GREAT! The house chimichurri sauce is the best I have ever had. Finished with the Quad leches cake, it was perfect. Our server Grant, was very attentive, funny, and just a wonderful young man. If I could give him an award for outstanding service…I would. We will be back!!
I was a fish out of water here. The food was very tasty tho.
OMG the food is wonderful. They were really busy when we were there and the service was a little slow but I understand that because they were real busy. The empanadas are just fabulous. The beef is my favorite but also like the ham and cheese the spinach and the chicken empanada. The grilled chicken plate is wonderful their french fries are fresh cut in her fantastic also believed her not their fruit cup is wonderful it is fresh fruit! Bless you
I don't give out many 5 star reviews. However I was very impressed by this place. The wine list is long and varied. I would think anyone would find a favorite wine here. I chose the Breca Granacha red wine for its vibrant flavor and full nose. I had a mix of empanadas to start. Each was it's own flavor, encased in fresh buttered pastry and served steaming hot. I chose dinner to be flank steak with mashed potatoes and mixed salad. The steak was perfectly done and tender. The potatos were very nice, especially with some of the fresh & tangy chimichurra sauce on top. The salad was good, but it could have been reduced into pieces of lettuce smaller than my hand, please. A fact quickly forgotten by such a flavorful meal. I thoroughly enjoyed this meal. A wonderful find in a "basement" restaurant. Something like this in New York or Chicago would cost you triple and you'd beg for a reservation. Like I said before, I was very impressed.
Muy buen sazon, excelente servicio y ambiente
Downtown restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating, small bar inside and more space outside. They have a stage outside that looks like it's for live music. We went on a Saturday, was filled but not crowded so we got a table right away. We heard the empanadas were supposed to be good so we tried the pulled flank steak, spinach, and ham and cheese. The flank was the best but the other two were quite good. They went quite well with the caipirinhas we got. We also tried an array of other items from the grill like shrimp, morcia, and chorizo, as well as some fettuccine. Only complaint was that the french fries that came with the grilled items were undercooked. Everything else was really good. We'll come back to try some of the other grilled items.
Empanadas were great. Good variety. Corn, spinach, conpranse. Light and great taste.
