Great food & great service. Shout out to our server, Jenrry!
BMBC is a great neighborhood-y restaurant. It’s comfy, the decor feels very homey, and every time I go there, everyone is smiling. They have waiting areas in and outdoors which is so great. I’ve been to many restaurants that don’t have waiting areas at all and it can be awkward. The service is always outstanding. my husband and I have been lucky enough to have Jenrry as our server a couple of times and he’s always very polite and quick, always making sure we have what we need and answering our questions (I had questions about their gigantic juicer, lol). Last but certainly not least, THE FOOD! I’ve tried many things, never had a bad meal here, but always come back to the french omelette. The drinks are also always amazing (the coffee is always great). I usually bring out of town friends here and they always love it. See you soon, BMBC!
really fun menu, delicious ideas
The only reason why I didn't give 5 stars is because the prices are so high. We went 6 people to it breakfast and paid $236. I think it was too much for breakfast .
It's unfortunate, it's such a nice place and they put so much effort into their food. I just can't get on board with the decisions they make. Their chili is so dry and basic. I've had their chilaquiles and also their egg and chorizo torta. In both cases the flavors were just ok. The way they cook their scrambled egg is so weird. The texture is really soft but odd, and the taste is so lacking. I honestly want to know what they do with their eggs. Are they artificial eggs? does it come from a carton? What the heck are they adding in there to make eggs taste not good. It's almost impossible for egg to taste bad, it's so delicious by itself, I'll never know what they do to it.
I really enjoyed this place. All the dishes were very original and not your usual breakfast dishes. Most dishes have a Mexican twist with a few Korean inspired plates. I got the Chilaquiles Verde, and it was excellent and a generous portion. Service was fast and attentive for a late brunch on a Wednesday. I imagine this place is hopping on the weekends!
Everything is good. I love the mango strawberry hotcakes (I substitute it for waffles tho). But seasonal menu is the best!.
Loved it. The bread pudding French toast was amazing.
