I first ordered on DoorDash and was hooked. Today I went to the store and I’m pleased. I’m about to hurt myself on this windy day . Plus the coffee was great
Ordered on ubereats, got the deluxed lox special, there were no options to choose from for the bagel. I called them, someone picked up and told me I have to choose the bagel from the options next time because every customer does it through the app. Told him there were no options and he kept telling me I have to choose from the app. Like, if I can choose I would have because honestly I don’t even like going through the hassle of looking for this place’s # and calling and talking to people. They ended up changing the bagel for me (I called about 3 minutes later, he said the bagel was done already but will change it this time only). I don’t know how they got the order done already within a few minutes from receiving the order, but the employees/ store owner should double check the page on ubereats first before telling a customer the options are there when it’s clearly not.
I decided to write a review hoping that the owners of these businesses will see my note and will think about it. Usually I buy bagels, tuna, cream cheese (different) from them. A few times I added a few croissants. The guys give a good service and I always tip them. I don’t say anything about the prices. I never pay attention. The bagels are good, tasty. But they need to be cooked a little longer, to make them a little bit well done. And I THINK THEY ARE TOO BIG. IT’S NOT A ITALIAN ROUND BREAD, IT’s A BAGEL. You will make more money if you make them 35-40% less by their size. Drop the price for 25% and make them smaller. Check the size of the bagels at Costco or BJs, make it that size and put your quality in it. You’ll get the best bagels in Brooklyn. I hope I was clear. P.S. I always ask for well done bagels that’s why they look good on my picture. The inside part goes into garbage.
