Nice place to eat. Sit by the window, and you can look over the 8 freeway. Tables are too close together, and its loud as a lot of people sitting close together

A friend and I went for lunch today. We sat in the outside patio and relaxed with a delicious margarita. The person who greeted us was Madelynn and she was lovely. We both ordered the clam chowder and the crab cake. Both were delicious. We shared a piece of strawberry cheesecake which was very tasty. Haven’t been here in a while (don’t know why) but we will be back soon and I will be bringing other friends here often. Thank you Brigantine!

Always a enjoyable, Crab Louis salad, fish specials, beef. Always consistent quality Del Mar & PT Loma are my favorites. Parking: Always available, but except for downtown, generally safe, free.

I have frequented the La Mesa Brigantine for a number of years and have to say that they maintain their quality of food. They have the freshest seafood east of san diego and the environment is always family friendly. Service is fast, plentiful parking and the bar is fully stocked. Try their Monday happy hour $5 menu which includes well drinks, margaritas and some of their best appetizers. Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly place and several options for parents to be either indoors or outside.

Taco Tuesday!!! Got my crispy fish and shrimp tacos. Food could not be better. Service was fast and friendly.

I've been coming here since I was a kid and love this place. The venue is great. Steve the bartender is a cool dude. The Brig margarita with a fish and shrimp taco is my goto. The macadamia nut encrusted halibut dinner is awesome too. Great patio dining available if you don't want to be inside. Prices are what you would expect with the venue - not cheap, but fair market rate. If you're OK with walking stairs park to the north in the lot between the building and the restaurant since parking out front to the south is small and full most of the time. Funky entry driveways require care to get in/out so be careful.
