Overrated

Absolutely brilliant, and great fun We visited twice during a family trip to Edinburgh - Thursday night for dinner and Saturday for lunch. Both times we requested the back room as they have live music. On the Thursday the singer and band were taking requests (great version of A Little Respect by Erasure) and on the Saturday it was relaxed acoustic guitar vibes. The vegan food here is outstanding and the service just superb. On the Saturday we were served by Anya and she was so friendly and accommodating. Couldn’t recommend this place highly enough.

What a fantastic venue for an event!!! We only had canapes so can't comment directly on the food. The camapes we had were lovely though. We hired a room for a family event. The barman did an excellent job.. highly recommend for an event.

Very convenient when traveling by train, great selection, friendly staff

Servers very friendly and quick. Food tasted alright but wasn't very much of it.

Booked for afternoon tea and asked if we could have a vegetarian afternoon tea to which the answer was NO. It was a set menu. Who in this day and age doesn’t cater for vegetarians?

Really nice decor, delicious food, a wide range of beers and spirits. Super handy for waverly train station. Give it a visit next your in Edinburgh. Highly recommended
