Definitely a special occasion restaurant $$$ but every bite was worth it Would probably pass on the oxtail appetizer it was “ok” the tomahawk was melt in your mouth amazing and the bone marrow appetizer was heavenly! Cheers
This is my wife and i , our favorite place. We love this place steak is awesome and so is the French onion soup
Our 2nd trip to Boston Chops was way over the top this time around. I can not say enough good things about the crew, management, service, food and atmosphere this place has as an everyday thing. This well oiled machine runs perfectly each and every step of the way. Thank you to all the kitchen crew as well.
We sat at the bar and Trish took exemplary care of us - the staff was super-friendly and welcoming and their recommendations didn’t disappoint. I’m not a steak house sort of guy but had a gift certificate and my expectations were far surpassed, zero complaints about any aspect of the evening, looking forward to our next visit, great vibe.
The service was Top Tier. The waiter was very knowledgeable about meals & drinks. The meals were tasty and cooked to specification. I love my steak well done and thanks to the recommendation of the waiter ( bald guy, beard looks like he gyms) I had the Bavette Steak. It was superb and yet soft ( not like shoe leather) as I'm always told when I order well done steak. Drinks were flavourful.
Our waiter was completely non responsive...like in a different time zone. Vegetarian options: Not a lot of choices for the plant based peeps
Wants to be an alternative Steak House, a step behind the ambition. The menu resembles Longhorn more than Capital Grill, Abe and etc.The service is hurried family style level and the food is solid for a neighborhood restaurant but this is not a "destination" spot Parking: South End.... parking is a issue
