The atmosphere was great. Our server was great. We found a rock in the food, but management made it right. The food was ok for me. The drinks were ok for me. If I didn't go back I wouldn't be upset about it. Service was excellent Vegetarian options: Mushrooms and potatoes
This was our second time at Boqueria and we left just as happy as our first experience. Everyone is so pleasant and helpful! We had two different servers, but each made our experience great! The food was fantastic- both times - delicious, authentic, and hot! Thank you for another enjoyable dinner!! Highly recommend.
3.5 stars. Service was great and the food was ok.
Tables are extremely close together. Very loud environment. Food was overpriced and was average quality. If you’re looking for tapas in Chicago, I suggest Cafe Ba Ba Reba or Lil Ba Ba Reba (bit more trendy) - better value. What high-end restaurant with a full service bar doesn’t have bleu cheese olives for dirty martinis (commenting for another person in my party). Expected more from wait staff, friendly, but not very attentive. Don’t ruin bacon wrapped dates by adding bleu cheese… repurpose that for a martini ;-)
My boyfriend and I had a great dining experience. We had special “Chicago restaurant week” menu. We chose patatas bravas, roasted eggplant, lamb skewers, shrimp gambas, octopus and half chicken. All foods were delicious. Service and atmosphere were really amazing. We loved it. We will definitely come back. Give it a try!
Restaurant Week Food was delicious, but way over priced for the portions you receive. It’s fine for a quick lunch visit during restaurant week, but wouldn’t return during normal menu pricing. I still had to eat a protein bar afterwards to not feel hungry.
