Sancerre and sushi the perfect Sunday lunch combo. Food was delicious and service was excellent … can’t wait to go back for more Crispy Rice with Spicy Tuna
Try the matcha crème brûlée. It was amazing other than that the dining experience was not very note worthy
everything great as usual but expensive!
If you are craving for raw fish in a budget friendly but still not too bad quality, Blue Ribbon is a good franchise restaurant that is not bad at all. This time I was hanging out with my friend in Soho, NYC. She came to this restaurant before and after shopping, we just want to go to Japanese place that is not too fancy. We tried Uni and we weren't crazy about it. My opinion, with regular like tuna or salmon they are fine but with some stuff that need to be quaily like Uni or fatty tuna, after you already tasted the better one when you try to not as good one, you will get turn off. Yes, we just wanted to give them a chance but it is was it is, you get what you pay.
The Japanese establishment in Soho has become a personal favorite of mine. It offers a serene dining experience with high-quality food, free from overwhelming crowds and excessive noise. While the interior is straightforward, the ambiance and food quality are exceptional. The attentive servers are ready to recommend dishes if you're undecided. Guests are warmly welcomed with a traditional Japanese greeting. Overall, it's a fantastic spot for an authentic Japanese experience in the heart of NYC.
I gave Blue Ribbon Sushi 4 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ What did the waiter say when he dropped the sushi platter? I'm soy sorry!!! Pros: • High-quality ingredients used in all dishes • Sake selection for sipping • Outstandingly fresh fish!!! • Wine and other drink options available • Plenty of vegetarian options available • Very nice presentation of dishes! • Great atmosphere! • Attentive and knowledgeable staff • Cozy and intimate dining area • Amazing service • Friendly and welcoming atmosphere • Relaxing and tranquil ambiance Cons: • No brown rice options • Limited creativity with the specialty rolls (but they will gladly accommodate if you want to do a special order that's not on the menu!!!) Overall, Blue Ribbon Sushi is a great spot for sushi lovers, with excellent service, fresh fish, and a cozy atmosphere. They offer a variety of drink options, including sake, green tea, and wine, making it a great choice for a night out!
