I love eating here, the best brunch place in Montclair without being overpriced or too snooty. Great black coffee and cocktails and wide variety of food options.

I would give this place no stars if I could. I made reservations for their advertised “Brunch with Santa” times were from 12pm-4pm. I was told they only had 2pm or 4pm available. I chose 4pm. When I showed up there was no Santa and I was told the kitchen was about to close. I told them I had reservations. They then told me “okay we’ll take you but you need to put in your order in like 5 minutes” Why even advertise a holiday special event in the restaurant when there was not even anything close to it. There was barely any decorations, the place is a basic bakery/cafe looking place. And then have the nerve to rush me when they messed up on their part.

Here on an early Saturday afternoon. It’s a second visit, to finally try some of the regular food samplings. Go here and enjoy!! This avocado toast is tasty. It’s served on a small carving board, and comes with your choice of home fries or salad and a really good swath of avocado. Loved the potatoes. Golden, crispy outside, hot and fluffy inside! Decaf coffee is robust. They were a bit busy, and are looking to hire staff; so, not going to fault on the bit of a wait for service. Will definitely be back… soon, to try more delights. P.S.: Hubby had the short stack of regular pancakes. Couldn’t resist a taste, because they looked so good. They were fluffy and delicious. Sorry.. missed that photo op for you. No matter. You won’t be disappointed if you order them.

I brought my siblings here , it was an amazing experience ,the staff was friendly , and Santa was so nice. They loved it here!! I would recommend the chicken and waffles!

I LITERALLY come to this place every weekend for brunch and I love the vibe, however it’s the WORST service I have ever had. This place has a lot of potential and from me they have a regular customer. It hurts to leave a 20% tip when the waitresses don’t care about you, take several minutes to go to your table (take orders, cleaning up), they’re just taking to each other and watching their phone, I have to look at them directly to simply ask them for the check. I’m tired of getting up and go to the cashier to get them my card. Hope you can improve in the service
