Great place. I had the galbi & soondoobu (tofu) lunch special combo. They had a nice variety of banchan, those little apps that come before the main dish. The staff was super attentive. I'll be back.
I'm always going to rate Biwon 5s all around. Forgot to take pictures because it's way past my first time here and I thought I already did this Guys just go Vegetarian options: There are options like kimchi fried rice or vegetable pancake. Nearly half of their stews are vegetarian.
Love the bbq and every dish here! Service is great too. I come here very often and I'm never disappointed.
Unfriendly and ill mannered older female server when we arrived for pick up on a slow Thursday afternoon. Frowning and gesturing to customers wildly like an animal. We lived here way before they opened, calmly paid, and thanked the Spanish food runner/bus boy who was the only professional on the floor. Rude ignorant staff. Too many Korean spots on Northern and Bell. Will not return.
I have been going to this restaurant for years now and have a great experience every time. The food is always good, and it comes with great banchan (side dishes) especially when you order barbecue. I typically get the marinated galbi and spicy cold noodles. I have tried several of their stews and those have also been a hit as well. Free parking in the back. Definitely would recommend people to check this place out for Korean food and barbecue.
When we arrived on the evening of February 23,, it was around 8 o'clock. The waiter informed us that dining services would be available until 9:30. My friend and I had our meal, and as the night progressed, we found ourselves the last patrons in the restaurant. The staff seemed a bit rushed and urged us to settle the bill quickly. In the haste to leave, I realized that I had lost my passport holder inside the restaurant, which contained my passport and $2000 in cash. I hope the staff can find it and keep it safe when they see it tomorrow morning. I am hopeful that I can successfully retrieve it tomorrow.
