Last time I was here I got the Southern Benny and loved it!
Understaffed and overpriced. It took almost 15 mins from the time we sat down for them to bring my coffee and a water. The food is good and I like the menu. It’s even worth paying their high prices. But the service is always terrible which ruins the experience. They typically have one person behind the bar and they only had one waiter. The place was packed and you have no servers??? Not to mention the army of door dashers hanging around clogging up the place.
I will be going back again and again. And not just for the biscuits.
I really wanted to love their biscuits. They look delicious with a lot of layers but unfortunately the dough is way over worked and what you get is a pizza crust consistency with a chewy biscuit. If you like chewy then this is the place. It's a bit pricey but they are in a high rent district so not a negative. Sausage gravy was mostly sausage and a $4 order didn't cover my biscuit. The jam was delicious on a buttered biscuit.
I was thrilled when they opened this place up as I had had it before when I visited Nashville. The food is so delicious. I love the biscuit and gravy and the blueberry bonuts. The food is a little on the pricey side, but, imo, it's worth it because it's delicious and it definitely fills you up.
Delightful place and good late, late breakfast AND We met MIRACLE
