It's a rare day to stumble upon such an amazing hidden treasure in what some would consider a seemingly ordinary, dinghy gas station. My first visit to the Biscuit Kitchen was on a cold snowy New Years day. I first arrived at the world renowned Loveless Cafe next door. After waiting 3 hours in line for brunch behind an older couple from Albuquerque that were visiting their son, who just moved to the city to play upright bass for Fancy Hagood, I discovered that Loveless had another "restaurant" right next door! I decided to roll the dice and get out of line and try my luck at the Biscuit "Kitchen" and, oh boy, did I make the right decision!Did I have to sacrifice my dignity to eat brunch from a gas station?... yes. But did I get the same food I would have ordered at Loveless Cafe cheaper and quicker?.... well, no. But! I did get one of the most scrumptious biscuit sandwiches from a gas station I've ever had, with the added benefit of no longer listening to how successful Seth and his bass were.On a mostly unrelated note, I have friends who moved within walking distance of the Biscuit Kitchen and I swear they did it for the ease of access to the Smoked Pulled Pork Biscuit...TL;DR : get almost the same delicious Loveless experience without talking to weird people from New Mexico, but at the cost of knowing you're just buying breakfast from a gas station.

Busy morning for Loveless employees, and always professional when in a crunch.
