Loved This Restaurant! My Boyfriend And I Went Last Week For A Date And The Food Was Delicious! I Will Definitely Be Back!
I ordered via ubereats and when I got the order, they had given me the wrong item. I gave them a call letting them know what they had done. Not only did they let me keep the wrong item but had someone from the restaurant personally delivery the right item to my place. Most of the time the restaurant just says call Uber eats and ask them to refund you for the wrong item. Here they took the extra efforts to make sure they got the right item to me. I'm extremely impressed by their service. Thank you so much! The food was tasty as well. Will be ordering from here again!
I have lived in the Lawrenceville area for a while now. It took me almost 2 years to find a restaurant with Indian food that paid homage to the food itself. During those two years I have had some outrageously disappointing experiences. NOT HERE! This is the BEST INDIAN FOOD I have eaten in the USA. I am a huge fan of lamb, and their lamb has always been the most tasty and tender of the bunch. Also the goat dishes that I have tried are OUTSTANDING, perhaps the best rendition of GOAT that I have ever had. Across the globe. It is not a "fancy" restaurant. It is a place where you can eat authentic, delicious food, served by honest hard working folk. It is family run, sometimes in some cultures, having the family around is judged differently. I have been eating there for almost a year, at least weekly. If you come for the food, you will not be disappointed. I drive about an hour and fifteen minutes to eat there. Thank you for your amazing food!
Let’s start with the good; the Chicken Makni (butter chicken), garlic naan, and rara gosht (stewed lamb) were all good. They lost points with the overcooked samosas, customer service ,and atmosphere. When I walked in there was no one that worked there up front I stood around for about 5 minutes before I finally just called the business number so someone could come. The atmosphere was very run down and bar like so I was worried the food would probably not be the best. But I was pleasantly surprised with the main dishes overall.
