I had heard of this spot before but then made a reservation after I read about it from a New York Times article. We got an indoor seat at the bar. Food and drinks came out quick. I had no idea that the charcoal grilled meats would be one single piece. Everything we ate was really good such as The Tori Karapon, Sake Evo Crudo, a bunch of skewered meat and my favorite of them all the Duck Ramen. Also, definitely try the piece of meat with a persimmon around it and I believe it’s a peach in the summer time. I wish I had taken a plate of that Duck Ramen home! If you want the full experience sit inside and if you can’t stand the smoke from the grilling, you can sit outside.

Went in for dinner and had the most inattentive waitress, yet when a group of her friends came in to eat she was all over them. One of our orders was never put in and it took nearly an hour to get checked in on about it. Was given a dessert as compensation which was nice, but was forcibly charged 20% gratuity for livable wages for staff...felt really unfair that I had to tip for such awful service because they can't take responsibility and pay their staff better. Food was also not that great and came out cold. Used to be my FAVORITE restaurant ever but now I don't plan to go back again. :(

delicious food and amazing service! We have been a couple of times since they opened and it’s quickly becoming our favorite spot. We love the daily rotating menu, the grill selections and the amazing soju drinks. There’s great portions on everything and we were especially impressed with the Katsu Sando (it’s massive!). Highly recommend making a reservation or expect a longer wait time (it’s not a huge place but the ambience of the grill in the small restaurant is exciting!) We loved our waiters and their recommendations every time we’ve gone! Our most recent waiter was a tall, younger man w brown hair (apologies I don’t remember his name!) and he was so attentive and personable! Can’t wait to try more things at Binchoyaki!! Parking: limited # of street parking spots. Go further away from the freeway/down the block to find more options

As a kid did you ever get told, "I am not angry at you I am just disappointed in you." That's how I feel right now. I feel as betrayed as Julius Caesar in the debating chamber. When things hit the fan are you still a fan? In this sense no. This was my saving grace, My humble abode. I am at a loss for words for how disappointing this last experience ruined every other time I ever came to this establishment. The food was okay, the special options before used to be better in my opinion. The service was probably the worst service I ever had. The forced gratuity of 20% being implemented for livable wages. I would not mind one single bit of paying that if the service was good and the food was timely. The server forgot part of the order, never checked up, but they did check up on their friends constantly. I don't know, maybe I am just another dude.

Will not be coming back! Many other sushi buffets and restaurants with higher quality food at a way better price! Atmostphere looks like an old garage. The only thing about this place that was above average was the service from our waitress! The food was overpriced and mediocre at best. Came here this past friday night and the asian lady by the door was very rude and unfriendly when taking us to our seats. She didnt even say hello! We werent there for a full hour and she basically kicked us out by telling us there was people waiting outside. For a table spending $255 on food and drink you would think they would have a little more hospitality!

Our favorite restaurant in Vegas specializes in Japanese grilled skewers over binchotan charcoal so we thought we’d give Binchoyaki a try. We’d been hearing mixed reviews from friends and family and now I understand why. We tried a variety of skewers from veggie to organ meat to chicken and beef. They were all solid, good flavors. Couple pieces were overcooked but fine overall. However, it was the portion size vs pricing that threw me off. Each tiny skewer is only about a bite full and average about $6 each. Unfortunately, the quality, quantity, and setting don’t justify the cost. On top of that, they tack on 20% automatic gratuity. The two of us spent $100+ for what felt like appetizers and left hungry. Ended up going to a 2nd spot that didn’t break the bank. This place would be promising if they were a little more generous with portion sizes.

A fantastic find at the edge of Downtown Sacramento. A seriously fabulous Japanese bar food restaurant serving a tremendous variety of great dishes. The only true Japanese curry I have had in California. A surprising selection of Japanese craft beers. I have been here a few times over the years and having just been for a lunch - it is still a wonderful treat, filled with surprises!!! Tried uploading photograph but continued receiving error messages.

First time here at this restaurant. Better make a reservation if you plan dine here. 20% gratuity for any party size. Really!!!. Most of the food we ordered was good. Some was not worth due to the price like the Beef tongue and Ny strip @ $17-$19 for 2 small sticks, Over cooked! Be prepared to pay about $80-$100 each
