Big Shake's Hot Chicken & Fish

Passed by the gulch location and it looks to be permanently closed with a for lease sign up. I don’t remember seeing any email communications about them going out of business. The last message was promoting e-gift cards for the holidays. It’s a shame if they really did close.

The chicken is where it’s at for here.

Received an email from the owners on January 30, 2024 stating that this location will not reopen. It is now permanently closed. So sad to hear this as it was such a great place to eat at on a regular basis.

Friendly, fast service. Inside dining now available. Food was very good, as usual. Table spacing was very good.

This place will get your order wrong if you get an order at all. The things you do receive will be mediocre at best. Cold chicken underwhelming. Skip the Columbia location and head to Franklin. Franklin location is great food is solid and service actually exists. The Columbia location will greet you with a what do you want attitude and will treat you like they don’t want your business. Franklin used to be our favorite hot chicken in Nashville greater area. Columbia has ruined it for this business. Save your money or go elsewhere!

Spent $40 on 3 meals and they all came with one piece of fish that didn't cover the bread. Do better by the people that support you!!
