Big Jones

Big Jones offers a delightful breakfast experience. I had the "A Simple Southern Breakfast" along with a side of buttermilk biscuit perfectly complemented by the orange mint melange tea. The ambiance adds to the charm, making it a must-visit for those craving authentic Southern cuisine with a twist!

The food and service were good overall. They have high chairs, which is great for families with young kids. But they don't have a diaper changing station in the restrooms, which was surprising.

I had the best burger of my life here today… after a really bad week and day that big fat juicy burger was so good and was made with so much love from the amazing cook. just absolute perfection, so perfect i had to tell the cook myself.

Food is okay, but prices are high, so I expected excellent tasting food. Gumbo was good, jambalaya was just okay (for $32]. Hurricanes were just okay. Sad to say, I do not recommend, unless they bring the prices down.

Scratches the itch but doesn’t satisfy. I’m from the south though, so I’ve had exceptional southern food to compare. Cocktails are priced well for the amount of liquor, but not well balanced. Service wasn’t attentive, but not awful. They forgot one of our drinks. Food was nothing to write home about, but not bad. A little overpriced for the food quality in Chicago. Overall very mid.
