We tried a baguette, cookie, and amazingly complex pear vanilla tart. What a treat. Every time I have stopped by this store the staff have been absolutely lovely and so helpful! Always friendly, happy to make a recommendation, and eager to help me find the perfect baguette (which I found today!).
Came in today and ended up getting an almond croissant. Looked delicious, but turned out to be dry and tasted burnt. $7 for a burnt croissant. Expensive and disappointing smh
It's one of the best chocolate almond croissants ever
Heavy duty bread & pastries. Worth the stop in.
This is the second time I’ve bought a loaf of bread from this place. It somehow managed to be harder than the one I bought previously. It’s crazy to pay twenty bucks for a loaf of bread that the sharpest bread knife struggles to cut through. The first time this happened I thought it was a one off. But I am starting to see it as a place that only sells bricks instead loafs of bread. Bricklayers are at home here, consumers of bread are not.
The $20 gluten free pound cake was frozen. They didn’t bother to thaw it or to tell me it was frozen. To be fair, they later gave me a refund, but the gluten free family members didn’t get breakfast today.
I smelled something delicious on the street so I had to walk in and try something here. I ordered one croissant but the guy gave me 3 for the price of 1, and they were delicious. Highly recommend.
DO NOT BUY THEIR COFFEE. As delicious as the breads and pastries might be, their iced beverages are such a rip off. Ordered a 20 oz cold brew and it was like 16 oz of ice with 4 oz of coffee! Go to blue bottle or absolute instead for your coffee. Pastries and bread are still good, no doubt. Also definitely a takeaway only place.
